Not showing up to your shift

If you are unable to attend a shift, please contact your coordinators as soon as possible to inform them of your situation. If you can provide legally valid proof (doctor’s visit, admission of a family member to hospital, official examination, etc.), you may be excused from your shift.

If the reason for not being able to attend your shift is not legally justified, you must attend your shift. If you still fail to attend, you will be reprimanded for absenting yourself from work without a justified reason.

Remember that before the start of each week you can request availability restrictions in person via the Scoober app; this means that it is your responsibility to think ahead in case there are activities or plans that might interfere with your shifts for the week. There are certain exceptions, but in general, missing a shift is not permitted or acceptable.
